Experts Recommend at Least Use a Headset When Talking on Cell Phones for a Longer Period
An article published in the medical journal The Lancet Oncology made headlines last month when it announced that a group of experts from the World Health Organization recently ranked the radiation of mobile phone use as ” possibly carcinogenic to humans “, with a rating similar to DDT and the engine exhaust. While the consequences of this classification is widely disputed, experts recommend at least use a headset when talking on cell phones for a longer period. And most scientists agree that more research is needed. An easy to understand summary of the cancer research over the cell phone use can be found on the website of the National Cancer Institute. In a short summary, it is not clear yet what the relationship might be. We do not know enough to say that there is a relationship or not.
And what about texting? A 2010 article published in the Washington Post cited a study by the Pew Research Center found – in 800 adolescents supposed to be “representative” of the U.S. population – that teenage “girls typically send and receive 80 texts a day and the boys come in at 30 “This is not a small number! From the perspective of health, there have been several arguments about how texting can create new repetitive stress injuries that had been common before. An article in U. S. News and World Report back in 2009, commenting on studies that have shown that texting can cause pain and inflammation of the thumbs, hands, forearms, or even the neck.
It’s not just cell phones we are talking about, though. Statistics compiled by researchers in the summer of 2010 showed that 55% of Americans use the Internet every day, on average 60 hours / month online. If you put those hours back, you might spend online a whole month every year. Among certain age groups, this figure is much higher.

It is Easy to Forget that Even Students Need Health Care Proxies
Every year high school students everywhere to find out where to attend college in the school season. Among the exciting poring over course catalogs and remember dorm sites, it is easy to forget that even students need health care proxies.
A health care proxy is a document of basic estate planning in which the principal designates someone to serve as their health care agent to make decisions on health care for them if they are unable to do yourself.
If you are confused why an eighteen-year-old would need an estate planning document, consider the following: at eighteen years is a legal adult. This may seem obvious that the parents of the student would be to take medical decisions in emergencies, but it is simply not true. Adults are responsible for their own health. Many health care facilities will not even talk to someone who does not have a valid health care proxy, regardless of the relationship between the parties.
To avoid this potentially frightening and frustrating, to be sure that your adult child has all their documents in place before you head out of the school. Your child will feel secured, nothing to be worried, not to think much about anything else but books, lectures etc. However your child should maintain his/her health by exercising, eating good food, drinking juice, sleep well, get enough rest while study hard, however needs to fill out his/her hobbies such as playing music, swiming, reading novels, etc. The point is that your child should get a touch in mind by doing good relaxation to restore his/her spirit.

We Should Focus Our Efforts and Provide a Perspective on Health Inequalities
In recent months, some attention given to the issue of health inequalities by asking how we should focus our efforts and provide a perspective on health inequalities.
It’s appreciated when readers respond if they agree, disagree, or offer an alternative perspective, and this is to share some comments on the post of the differences that developed the ideas.
Mosbaek Craig writes that “I recognize that what we should do is to improve the health of the least healthy. And it is true that many public health policies and programs actually increase the differences, because these policies / programs are more effective in a healthier population. But we can do better. we should examine each policy / program and see if it is increasing or decreasing equity in health. if it is down health justice, we must change the policy / program to fight fare against inequality. ”
Similarly, Ed Donovan wrote: “I agree that focus directly on racial differences in health is often useful to identify the obstacles rather solutions with a focus instead on social and environmental determinants of physical health can help to respond directly to the ” What this means to me “questions and indirect address racial / ethnic differences.
In addition to working to solve both obvious and subtle forms of racism in our society, we must also recognize that income and education are powerful drivers of health care regardless of race and ethnicity. A commitment to strengthen policies that improve access to adequate income, employment, education and opportunities for early childhood lifts all boats, and improve overall health and reduce health inequalities .

Donate to Charity Promotes Mental Health
Donate to charity promotes mental health
Psychology today, body minding blog advises people to improve their mental health by giving money to charity: Worried about money? Give some away.
Quoting several studies that show some of the positive effects of the charity have principles:
- It can create a sense of social belonging.
- It gives you a feeling of making a difference.
- It can reduce the stress response of the body to make you produce less cortisol, a stress hormone.
There is much more than that too. Donors are ahead economically, socially, physically, spiritually – in every way possible – when they give.
Remember: When you ask donors for money, not trying to make them poorer. You are offering them a path to a better life – including better mental health.
When you realize how good you can open the donors by asking them, you will do a better job with it.
The fundrising is not about social media, online video, etc. Neither about any technology, medium or technique. It’s about donors. If you want to raise funds from donors, you have to study, respect and build everything you do around them.
We now need professionals in fundraising who:
- Be aware that fundraising is about donors, not us.
- Be aware that fundraising is both a science-based art and number one heart motor.
- Understand that fundraising is a noble activity and change the world, not just a necessary evil or sidekick to the real thing.
Think of the fundraising can be done much better.
